Where to buy: new car hauler

I am selling the car hauler I bought a couple months back and want something new(getting $1000 for it, so if anyone needs it and will pay more, let me know). I want something 18'+2, preferably metal deck, and with 5200lb axles. Overall build quality is important. I want to treat it like a trailer, which means use the crap out of it and perform very little maintence. Brakes on 1 axle for sure, but it seems most 5200lb axles have them on both.

Most trailer places only have them with the 3500lb axles, so I imagine they will have to order on. I really do not want to spend more than $2500.

I also do not really want to buy it over eBay.

What is that place everyone mentions on 45N somewhere? I think it was Robbie or Jerry that recomeneded it.

Anyone every hear of removable trailer fenders? I saw an ad for a trailer with them an dwas interested. the track width of hte Bronco is 83-84" and most trailer s have 83" between the fenders. With the H1 rims I am about to run, it should be a little wider, so a removable fender would be ideal.

Does anyone know how they work?

the removable fenders are pretty sweet. the ones that I have used on a trailer had a small piece of channel that hooks over the rail on the trailer and 3 cj style latches on each fender that hold them on.

the only problem with the is that they don't hold up very well when you blow out a tire, but then again those fenders were on a aluminum trailer.

Anyways when we blew a tire it broke the latches but bunjee cords make easy replacements

You are not going to find a trailer like what you are looking for for that price. For a trailer like you want, you are looking to spend around $3200. I have basically what you are looking for, a 20' bumper pull with twoo 5200 lb. axles and brakes on both axles. My trailer is a piece of **** though, I didnt know what I was doing when I bought it. I pad $2800 for it but after two years I know why it was $500 cheaper than the competitors. They cut alot of corners. Dont cheap out, you'll regret it if you do.

john, call the guys in the link i posted, they can help you out. They are by far the least expensive I have seen and the build quality is good. I am going to pick up a trailer from them next month.

Trout tire and trailer in porter sells some nice car haulers cheap. I think they want 1900 bucks for there 20 footers. They will upgrade the axles too if needed.
