Karl looked like Burt Munro. We got home when I posted that earlier. It's around 8:00 now and we're headed back to pick up a fallen commrade. Good times!

had a great time, hope to do it again next year but maybe in a vehicle with less doors and glass

Good times and good wheeling were had.

I had a rear shaft break while idleing around. Broke in the middle like last time. I thought they were supposed to break at the splines or the flange. Got a crack in the power steering reservior but that was before the trip. And the frame bent a little where the driver side coil and panhard mount so that's gonna be fun to fix.

Saw some high speed motorcycle wheelies while driving home.

Well, they cobbled that back together enough for him to drive home. About 30-40 miles into the trip home a bearing went in his transfercase. So we went and got him.

I had a great time this weekend. Shelled the front lockright and maybe a hub, have two leaky tires now, and I'm pretty sure I spun a main bearing while it was running on it's side. Except for the couple of minutes my scout was on it's side, I had a blast.

That wasn't really a side, it was the housing that was bent, not the tubes. And it was a different side than last time. Could have something to do with what's happened to the axle for the past few years. Doesn't matter much, it will be replaced with a 70 soon likely.

Good times. Sorry we had to bail so early, had to get home and do some yard work! Yeah!

PS there was some carnage in a truck stop bathroom in Lufkin that needs to added to the list.

Yeah that was a dissapointment... On a gm forum that I frequent he seemed pretty cool, after meeting him that's just not so though.
