don't lift it, just trim the fenders, weld up the diffs and throw some 35s or 37s on it.

if I was building a truck like that I'd try to build it like this http://www.4wheeloffroad.com/featuredvehicles/83759/ Granted, the D60s and 42s are probably a little much for you now, but I still think a milder version of this truck would be cool

hes not gonna go crazy stupid with it like i have/am trying to do to mine. hes gonna lock it, small 4 in lift, 35s and go from there, anything above 35 he will start breaking stuff and he doesnt wanna do that.

    to-do list:

    check timing
bolt some tow hooks to the frame on the front
see if the electric choke works
put in new exhaust or at least tie up whats left of the orginal
do something about the surface rust on the body
    straighten or replace steering
    4" lift
    tires
weld or put locker in rear

the choke had a tube that ran to the left exhaust manifold. it was broken off where it went in to the manifold and it fell out of the choke when i messed with it. so does the choke shut off when the exhaust gets to a certain temp? will the choke work now without it? im not sure how the choke works with the gas petal. do you push it all the way down when you start it then that kicks the choke on and hit the gas once its warmed up to shut it off? i dont know.

its not connected right now. the truck gets pissed off when its cold outside or if its been sitting for a few days. the carb may need to played more, but i don't really know how to fine tune it
