I had the rear diff in my DD 1 Tom crewcab done there in 07 or 08 and was perfectly happy with the turnaround and work. Put another 50k on the truck before selling it. I wouldn't consider your buddy screwed just yet. **** happens.

I was hoping someone could help me do it so I don't have to pay a shop, I'd attempt it myself before pay a shop to do it. I'm putting a dana 44 into a tacoma.

Cowboy up, buy a magnetic base and dial indicator from harbor freight and do it yourself. That's how all of us learned to do it.

I set up my 10.25 and it is good. I paid to have the 60 done because I didn't have any setup bearings for it. I would have done it myself if I had the time though. The guy that did it only charged me using 12oz currency though.

I've done several axles in this club. Read up on it and buy the harbor freight tools. It isn't hard just intimidating at first. Pm me for help
