Front body mounts
All of the body mounts are now done. On schedule to have it movable and painted next week.
the bushings are to prevent metal fatigue, not to increase driver comfort.

Well at least we know where that body is going to break in two
also as a hint put your tacks on the corners of a plate you are going to weld and they will blend in much better. Tack placement is one of the keys to great looking welds

With the amount of run time this rig will see compared to a street legal truck, I'm sure that the effects of solid body mounts won't be that bad. Plus, since the body is skinnier, the flex won't be as bad.
That is why you make one plate larger than the other, so it does not act like an edge on a bending brake. Come on, didn't Stacy teach you guys anything?
