My dad bought a Terry's trailer at the reccomendation of Grayson's dad. It's built well enough, but we've had issues with the wiring. Good trailer for the money.Originally Posted by JBrown89

Pick up an Equipment Trader magazine. They have plenty of adds for what you want in the back. Like a car hauler but heavier.
I've also been seeing adds for 18'x83" utility trailers in the chronicle for $1050 with 1 braking axle, not sure if they're 3500s or 5200s, or if tires are new. There are lots of trailer places in Houston you could call around to check prices.
$2700 for the heavy hauler with a removable fender and LEDs, 5200lb axles(one braking), bulldog hitch, 20footer(an 18 was same price)etc. Not too bad, but who know what the quality is like.Originally Posted by CRaSHnBuRN

Things to check for on cheapass trailer (like mine);
Deck width
Size of hitch (for a trailer that big it should DEFFINATELY be 2 5/16)
Quality of wiring
Painted undercarriage
Ramp attachment
These are the main problems I've had with my trailer.

who built yours again sharpe? Maybe we should start a thread with everyone describing what trailer they have, how much it costs, and any complaints or problems
buy a big tex. if they are cheaper in mt pleasant at the factory, i could pull it back for you next time i go home.
Big Tex, Pro-Trak and Goosenecks are all cheaper if you buy them through a distributor. (So they all told me) I really like the quality on my Pro-Trak but I don't think they make what you are lookin for.
A company caleld Truck Metal and More out of Uvalde. They suck ass.

also OK doesn't collect sales tax. you can take the trailer to the DMV and registr it as a homemade or fib on the cost.
