I got an '86 Ski Centurion Trutrac pretty cheap. The guy needed money, and the engine needs some work, not sure what's up yet. I'll take some pics once I get it cleaned up. It already has a pylon and fat sacks. I'm hoping to get it running next weekend. It's a lot like this one, but the blue is darker, and it doesn't have the gay rainbow action. Yes, it's a Ford 351, hell may have frozen over, I bought a ford.

That's a nice classic style competition ski boat, will never really look old. Notice the 2 speedometers. Should move pretty dam quick and turn sharp with 250 hp mounted in the middle. Bet it'll pull a mean ski tube. If it doesn't allready have them, watch for some powered adjustable trim tabs on the ebay. That boat is tuned for skiing, small wake. If you just adjust the tabs you can get a bigger wake but it'll hurt the boat's performance for cruising and such. I wonder how big you can make the surf wake.
I plan on cruising it about 1/4 mile from the ramp to the dam and wakeboarding, so I'll check into the tabs.

usually those boats are flat bottomed and so they plane real well at slalom speeds and don't make any wake at all but at slower speeds they make a mean wake, at least that is how our is, it helps that the shaft seal leaks and the back of the boat fills with water too

there are some tabs you can get that adjust semi automatic like. they are not power but have a hand pump mounted and you can pump them up by hand and then turn a valve to release$$...or you could spend big bucks to get $$$the electric/hydraulic ones..or like kopeckis talking about the manual ones$.

It's bad luck to change the name of a boat. As far as I know this boat has not been named yet so we should be good. I thought about Ski Ski Ski. Burris wants to call it "The $30,000 Millionaire" Which I like, but it needs a dirty slutty woman's name.
