Alto was awesome. That is the most fun I have ever had offroading. There were some iffy moments, like when I got stuck in the major water/mud hole. Unfortuneltly my truck did show some damage later. Pushed in fog light. I also had problems on the way back. The truck was overheating, and vibrating. I could not figure out the overheat problem so its in the shop. Can anyone give me a lift to Rudy's for Wednesday's meeting. I live at the Callaway House.

overheating- mud in the radiator fins

    vibrating- mud in the wheels

    pushed in fog light- mud

im pretty sure most any problem you're going to have is related to mud

Please tell me you didnt wash it off completely before going back to the Callaway garage. That would have been priceless.

I did wash the truck completely. I probably lost a weight or something. The radiators were completely washed off, hoses were fine, coolant level was fine. No leaks or anything. Belt is still there and fan spins. No mud in the way at all. So its not only the mud. I'm thinking bad connection or something to computer.

Good idea, use that warranty. It doesn't matter how small of a problem it is, if something is wrong, its the dealer's problem...

Damn fUrd's, they're always breaking down... maybe you should get a chevy. I would definitely look into picking up a trail rig only ride and just wrench and wheel it, instead of your new truck. You can get pretty much anything cheap Yota, Scout, K5, Bronco, and to whom I'm loyal, Jeep (it doesn't matter CJ,YJ,TJ,XJ, what have you, they all kick a$$).
