I didn't take many pictures.

Flem was in his red rover, my workmate Ryan was in his Tacoma, and Garrett Rouse was in his Land Cruiser. We camped at Clayton Lake State Park on Saturday night after hitting the casino on the way up. The State Park is really nice and is $12 to camp. There is a new restaurant in town just south of the big gas station (north of the Clayton Country Inn) called Little Mama's. We had breakfast there then hit the trail at 10am.

Second little wash in (around 3miles) Flem's rover made a pop and he lost all drive in the rear end. We pulled the third and the spider gears and center pin was trash. We made it another 3 miles or so up the trail without too much trouble. We then spent 4 hours straping and winching up about 1 mile of trail with huge 6 feet deep wash outs and 3 ft near vertical rock ledges. We found a few little bypasses and took them where we could but in the end had to turn it around near 6pm. We did find our ways to some cool pine forest trails on the way back.

We went back to the state park, where there was cell reception, and found out that we had taken the wrong trail right off the highway. The trail we were on met up with the k-trail a bit later but was not the k-trail itself. There was no way we were getting 3 mild rigs up that side of the mountain. Instead we hit up the new bar in town, One-eyed Jack's. The night ended with moonshine out of some guys truck and fighting off the local girls and their drunk uncle trying to 'hook us up'. We'll have to go back to actually wheel the k-trail but it was still a good weekend of wheeling and drinking. In true TAMOR fashion we drank a bunch and wheeled a little.
