yea but its 5hrs away.
Its called the Walmart/Sears return policy. Here is how you preform said policy:
1) Walk into store of choice.
2) Pick out product of choice (this would be a in-lb torque wrench for you).
3) Purchase said product.
4) Keep reciept in safe place and go home (don't get lost).
5) Carefully remove product from safety protecting sheath of plastic.
6) Use said tool (torque wrench, not Jimmy). :flipoff2:
7) Put wrench back into safety sheath of plastic in clean condtion.
8) Drive back to original store of purchase with product and said reciept.
9) Walk in and return product for American Doller.
10) Walk to Hallmark Store and buy TxCruzr a "Thank You" card.
ps. You must be old and senial to have not thought of this yourself. I would be ashamed to be your dad and to know that you did not try this time proven method. Kids these days :D
i got a clicky one

They had them at both walmart and sears back home. In fact, it was easyer to find the in-lb than the ft-lb.
:confused2
I like the dial type alot better. The beam type get damaged pretty easy.
did you try harbor freight? They gots one on their website for $30.
If he setting gears he needs one under 20 inch pounds, which most of them don't do. There was a good thread on pirate about this a year ago. I think someone found a decent dial one on a bicycle website for about $70.
