Brought home a new toyota tonight. Next wheeling rig since the 4runner hasn't gotten anywhere quick. I will list the details tomorrow, too late tonight. First truck in the line of trucks here.

You going to sas it?
Do you still have the FJ-40 or what happened with it?

Hell she even has Cruise control, power locks, power windows, AM/FM and Tape Deck and COLD AC :gigem:
Ok that's all I can remember right now. It was a good friend of mine's truck and his boy was getting a little big for the back seat of an extended cab so he is buying himself a 4 door taco, and after spending so much time making no progress on the 4Runner I decided to go the easy route for a little while. Bought not built...:)
The 40 is Dad's and it will be finished with it's mini resto on friday, along with my FJ Cruiser from its body work.
Looks like a badass rig, I like it.
I will get more pics tomorrow in the light, that just happened to be one from us wheeling.
you should take it to Mason this weekend
Taking her to Gilmer this weekend for the Land Cruiser ICBM/Halloween Run.
I know what diff would go good in the front of that truck with a mini-truck or diamond housing.
Don't let Bob near it, ask coop!
Who's truck was that Chris?
Jacque's, Or Coonass on TTR and TTORA
So, you need a 5.29 e-locked diff?
Nope. I am not planning on swapping an axle for at least 1 to 2 years. at that point I will decide what kind of stuff I want to run ;)
Sweet - way to keep it in the slant eye club.
It's what I am used to.
Your use to gay man sex but doesnt mean you should keep doing it. What would the wife think?:flipoff3:
snapped some pics in the driveway this morning as I was running out the door to get in the car.

Nice truck! I've always like Toyota's. Would be happy to see any of your rigs in action, since I am yet to see an FJ in its natural habitat.
Turns out the natural habitat of an FJ is the campground while the driver rides around in a Scout. :flipoff2: :D
I like the new rig....needs a solid front axle though.
Bad juju....
Yes, I know. But if I do it, I will do it right. Diamond Axle housing, Toyota parts, coil overs, it will be BADASS, and I don't have the money right now for BADASS, I have the money for a Waggy axle and some leafs so I think I will stick to IFS. :gigem:
Pretty cool rig. Are you going to change anything on it right now? Seems like integrating the cage and bed a little better would help its looks a lot
Oh and check your gear oil...it appears to be out :D
Only thing I am going to work on in the near future is changing out the radio for a factory toyota 6 disc changer i have sitting in the garage.
does it have A/C?
Cold A/C! Power windows and locks too (that work I might add)
reminds me of Frankentaco. Whatver happened to that guy?
sweet ass. I'd sell the lexus and DD it
The Lexus is the wife's, I gots no control over that :). But I drove the Taco to work yesterday and loved it, it will now be a toss up between the FJC and the Tacoma as to what I drive for fun :D
Looks like fun! I've always had a thing for rigs that can do well on the trail and then drive home.
You should get one that can do that some day dougie!
I dig it. I'd ditch the FJ and get a corvette. Then you have an off-road rig and something fun to drive on the street. Then when the taco is trashed, solid axle it, sell the corvette to me (partial trade on the trailer) and buy a tow rig! You really should just consult me before doing anything with cars, I've got it all figured out! :gigem:
Also the title of this thread made me want Taco Bueno for lunch.
I am glad I helped? :gigem:
Definitely was looking at getting something fun and ditching the FJC, I was really eyeing that 69 Camaro that Fred posted up, BUT I have decided with how little I owe on it, and how great of a truck it is, I will keep it for my trips to Colorado. Need a good SUV to tote the family around. :)
you could take the lexus to colorado and rent a 4wd when you get here. Hell I'll rent you the uglytruck and you won't have to worry about dinging it up!
would a ding even show up on it???
Look's badass. I dig it, nice and clean!:gigem:
I like that bed, exo needs more triangulation...:flipoff2:
the old ones on the beast don't rust, they just show the old Missouri Dept. of Transportation Yellow through. Video would be good. I need to get some of my gma when she watches some of the vids from the trail. :gigem:
