Please tell me you didnt wash it off completely before going back to the Callaway garage. That would have been priceless.

I did wash the truck completely. I probably lost a weight or something. The radiators were completely washed off, hoses were fine, coolant level was fine. No leaks or anything. Belt is still there and fan spins. No mud in the way at all. So its not only the mud. I'm thinking bad connection or something to computer.
How 'bout a lift to Rudy's anyone. My roomate will be at work. It would help if someone could.
mud will work wonders on a truck. after my ordeal with my old chevy I try to avoid mud as much as I can. Ill pick you up
Thanks. I think i'm going to get a beater for these excursions. much less to worry about. what time will you be at the entrance?
815-under the arch thingy
Good idea, use that warranty. It doesn't matter how small of a problem it is, if something is wrong, its the dealer's problem...Quote:

You can get pretty much anything cheap Yota, Scout, K5, Bronco, and to whom I'm loyal, Jeep (it doesn't matter CJ,YJ,TJ,XJ, what have you, they all kick a$$). :gigem:

Sorry guys. I'm loyal to ford anyway. I'd rather push my ford than drive a chevy as they say. But, I'm actally considering a blazer in a year or so. Good cheap rigs with power and solid axles. Easier to upgrade. I need something bigger than a jeep, but don't get me wrong, jeeps are awesome.
talk to Krebs at the meeting tonight about getting "something bigger"
with "solid axles"Quote:

If the man wants to buy a Scout, it is his business :)
Scout's are "mid-sized"
best of both worlds
mid-sized but heavy-weight. Are you sure that's the best of both worlds?
Actually since you're a Furd guy, a Scout 800 with a 302 could be cool!
an LS1 in a early scout would be cooler than a 302
Get a scrambler.
maybe not to a ford guy :)Quote:

Just as well full-sizes suck on tight trails, and wait til you get a big bodied rig in the rocks...say goodbye to rockerpanels and all. There's some vid's of guys with fullsizes including a burban' on offroad-tech.com, wheelin' in Moab on the slick rock and you can watch all the carnage. Don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing full sizes at all, I'm just saying that every rig has it's strengths and weaknesses, just as small rigs do too. :gigem:
i say screw it... get whatever is cheap beat the crap out of it and then get something else... i have a fullsize... wouldnt mind having something smaller... i am gonna buy a jeep for the woman in the next year or so as she wants something to wheel just as bad as i want to wheel my bronco again
get an EB, I need someone to sell all my parts to!!! :gigem:
Want my opinion? If i could do it all over again, I'm pretty sure I'd get an 85 extended cab yota or 4 runner if it was my only vehicle.
Why?
Still practical for college life... when moving back home you still can fit a bunch of ****.
Lightweight/small
Stock drivetrain holds up reasonably well to 35's with moderate wheeling.
Small enough to fit on trailers when someone has a spot.
Light enough that 1/2 tons can pull them well.
Good gas mileage.
Etc...
However, I still love the blazer, but I'm sure I would have love something else if it was my 1st.
I'm pretty sure we weren't given a chance to say no. For that I feel cheated! :flipoff2:Quote:

Them little Toyotas are tough trucks, but I'll just leave you with this picture. :gigem:
