I see the red letter grabbers on bro-trucks more and more actually...
I think they come with a monster logo flat bill.
I probably would have gone with red labels but they don't make them in a 37" tire that is DOT approved. I'm glad they don't because my toyos have been the best tires I have ever had.
How do BFG at's suck in the rain?.... I mean, any tire is going to suck in the rain after you wear all the tread off....
I runs them and like them. I usually get about 55k out of them.
They hydroplane easier. I wouldn't not buy them over it though if that's what someone wanted.
If you want to be a bad ass just get some cheapo mud stars .
Toyo's or BFGs, both great tires. Plenty of life out of the 4+ sets of BFGs I have run. Almost 50k on my Toyo AT2s now. Going to try and get to 60-70k. No tire I have ever had is super awesome in the rain. But I drive a truck, and do not try and grade tires on rain performance.
Michelins would be my choice for a 2wd and a plan to keeo the truck for awhile
Just because you drive a truck means rain performance isn't important?
Toyo mts are the awesome in the rain
.1% of my driving is in rain. A truck is very light on the ass.
So yes.
My truck isn't light anywhere.
ok
Kay
just don't put old used tires on there... ask me how I know this.
And the BFG KO2 comes out in July
i bought another set of Michelins. They were expensive but they have 70000 mile warranties and should tow really well.
Tommy for cereal. These, new headlights, and getting rid of your mexican unibrow would do wonders for your truck.

It's a bug shield!!! It's covering a dent too
Isn't the offset different? I see alot of 99-04s running around SA with 05+ wheels and they look goofy.
Yeah. Nothing wheel spacers wouldn't fix.
Or buy they right wheels. 99-04 lariat wheels would look great Tommy
Why buy new wheels and stay with 16s?
What ?
So you want to spend $100-200 on ghetto wheel spacers instead of finding nicer, year appropriate, lariat wheels with proper backspacing? Confused.
Spacers aren't ghetto unless you use ****ty parts. Ford used them from the factory on DRW trucks, and they are even over 5" spacers. 2" spacers are fine, especially on a truck like Tommy's. Not everyone thinks the old 16" wheels are nicer. A lot of people think that a slightly larger wheel looks better and you have better tire options as well on a 17 vs a 16. It would also make sense to use newer wheels if Tommy did an 05 conversion.

Plus when your wheel/tire come off and hit a house in Clayton...it gives a great story to tell.
Don't even think about using 2 spacers at once tommy ***
I just need to find an f450 to steal axles from
Just got 60k out of a set of Toyo A/T 2s. They were not to the wear bars, but pretty close. Alot of highway, towing, stop and go, offroad, driving like an asshole. These were my first set of Toyos and they were a great all around tire.
I went with a set of Cooper S/T Maxxs this time as the Toyos were a week out for some reason. They are a little bit more aggressive than the Toyo A/T 2s. I have only had them for about 1000 miles, but with this recent RARE rain in SA, they are noticable better on wet pavement than the Toyos :flipoff2: They were also a couple of hundrded cheaper. Not sure I will get the mileage I got out of the Toyos, but we'll see. Size is 295/70/18.
Jeremiah just got a 13 F350 and put similiar sized Nitto ATs on. We drive the same and pull the same trailers, so we can see which ones last the longest.
Are all of these E load rated?
Why not BFg at? I've got 50 on mine so far and they appear to have plenty of life left
My Nittos didn't last. I dropped down to a small tire again because I wanted BFGs again. I really like the KO2s. I wanted to wait on them to come out but that didn't work out so well for me.
