You know me better than that BDR. Oh, and the Suburban is on the injured list. Needs a trans rebuild, tcase chain, and rear axle rebuild. The Brune fleet is in bad shape right now. You should see the planning board in the shop...there isn't even room for Mario or Chip to make a funny comment!
Mostly tommy, probably a 80/20 split.
^^^^^ Agreed
Fix tranny leak-o ring in fill tube seems to be stopping it up
install yoke and front driveshaft from last weekends break
load and go!
You speak the truth JB...
I wasn't having a very good morning and after a frustrating weekend of not getting much done after dental surgery on Friday, I spent most of the weekend on pain killers and taking naps. So I was a bit down about the whole situation this morning.
Today I got news that the Tahoe's converter will be here Wednesday, I should have Lurch's new radiator tomorrow, along with the new assist ram. So now that I know when parts are going to be here, I can start getting some stuff knocked out.
Now to get all of that done so I can build my WTWE gift!
Had a pretty productive week so far. As of tonight, here's the revised list:
Lurch:
-grease all ujoints
-install new stereo head unit
-install different windshield frame and windshield
Trailer:
- Weld deck plate that has broken loose
- Get tire with nail in it patched
- Repack bearings and inspect suspension
- Replace clearance lights on rear
Tahoe
-front end alignment
-wash
Other:
-WTWE gift
-load up
I have a good tj windshield frame. Glass is bad. 75$
I think I am done. Still have to load the trailer, but I think the Jeep, Trailer and truck are squared away finally.
Sweet. Here's my revised, revised list.
Lurch:
-grease all ujoints, check fluids
Trailer:
- Weld deck plate that has broken loose
- Repack bearings and inspect suspension
Tahoe
-front end alignment
-wash
Other:
-WTWE gift
-load up
Nice work!
Thanks man!
drain the $70 of joe gibbs break in oil, put in $60 of joe gibbs regular oil
top off all gear oil
1 quart lucas transmission goo
purchase sushi
That NASCAR oil is some good stuff.
Hell yeah.
I switched because I thought the rings werent seating because of the occasional smoke and was desperate for anything to fix it rather than tear it apart. found out this week it was the injector harness corrosion causing intermittent connections and ltft to go high, but the miles I put on it don't make expensive oil that big of a deal
I have the GN hooked to the truck and the Busa jeep sitting out ready to load. Only if I could convince the ol lady to let me go I could be on the road within an hour of getting off work.
