Weather getting better
Is anyone bringing fire wood? I have some we can cut if I can get some help. Give me a call if anyone wants to help. 972-281-7106
Sam, you bringing wood again?
I'm excited to see Creighton wheeling again! Get to see the Holt Scrambler too, should be fun!
Shirts?
Go by walmart, get a white t-shirt and some puff paint and we'll make some....
You still have a few days... get to work
Looking for a place to sleep, might end up calling Sardis, my plans are not happening like I wanted. There is a tiny possibility I need a trailer spot.
Great. Last part i need isn't gonna be here till Thursday. At least I'm not planning on leaving till Friday...

Recent Clayton thread. Says in there somewhere that the Napa closed down. So possibly no spare parts.
FYI, 372 days to get your **** ready for Clayton 2014. Hope thats enough time.
Anyone have any spare 30 shafts I can borrow/potentially use?
I will see if I have any left. I think I gave all of mine to bdr.
I should still have some here somewhere. I'll look tonight.
Cool. I'd buy a set for a reasonable price.
And by reasonable, I mean bar tab at Tater Hill reasonable
Brian's Ranger might not make it per a call last night with Andrew. Looks like i have an open spot back on my trailer.
I was just about to post up that I won't be making it, but reading the thread... I'm reworking plans. :) Hard to miss one of these.
We're leaving Saturday out of Galveston on a cruise (keeping wife happy, will be fun but bad timing). So now I'm hoping to get out of work on Thu and Fri before I leave the country for a week. I'll have to do at least one conference call on the way up, but it's looking promising.
Anyone want to ride up there with me on Thu from CST? I'm taking the treetop flyer. Anyone else driving up from CST on Thu?
Also, any floor space for Thu and Fri? LMK. Thx.
Reminders!
I'm doing red beans and rice with sausage and cornbread Saturday night still.
Don't forget your white trash gift for the Saturday night gift exchange.
Anyone get ahold of Danny Ray, that guy in prison?
Tate jeep is ready. Jason's jeep needs a battery and hood latches. Trailer needs some welding and tires out back on. Also have to buy beer and pack everything.
Bastard is loaded and ready see you all tomorrow night!
Installing new batteries in the beast now and welding up the fender, then just have to clean the bed out, air the tires up and load 'er on the trailer.
First carnage for us is Jason's car hauler broke a spring hanger and trashed a tire before even getting out of my neighborhood. Already fixed and he is half way to waco already.
Just finished loading up and about to pull out of the house. We're going to stop for supper in Marlin and then be on the road!
Got a fire going finally.
Good times! Snow and ice everywhere! Biggest let down of the trip was finding out the tater hill closed.
If any of you found a silver cannon camera I am missing one, Jerry had it Saturday night so it might have ended up in room 10 or by the fire.
Dallas traffic, 35 traffic, Austin traffic. Took 8.5 hours to get home.
I had a blast. Weather sucked, especially Friday, but wheeling in the ice and snow was alot of fun. TJ did great. WTWE and Tommys graduation also great. Love this trip.
Had a blast. I had one tire to flat and one de bead. Jeep did great. I had a flat this am on trailer. Aired up before leaving. Was down to 30psi from 75 in waco. I aired it back up to 50 at a crappy gas station. Had 10psi when I got home. Also had another tire that lost its tread but not air. Noticed it with 60 miles to go. It made it home.
Great trip. I only took one photo the entire trip.

Awesome trip.... I just wish these outings lasted a couple more days, they always deliver good times and are the highlight of the year.
Just want to say Thank You again to Jimmy, Fred, BDR, and everyone else who cooked and provided the grub Saturday night, you guys rock. Also, the graduation ceremony for Tum Tum was badass... It's way cool to have such a great group of people gather and do this, we are definitely a big TAMOR family...maybe dysfunctional...but still a family.
I'm working on uploading pics and gopro video to my computer now...
Carnage for me-
- Trailer tire blew out on 47 on my way there, had to change it in the snow/ice in the dark.
- U joint cap shot out of front driveshaft Friday night, didn't notice until back at hotel and fixed it.
- The front driveshaft yoke on the axle side cracked and split the ear at the end of the day Saturday on top of Upper Slim's Slope. That shaft has made it through the last 3 years of Clayton trips, TCC's, Hidden Falls, Down Souths, and more without breaking so I can't complain.
- Old crappy bikini top took flight and is MIA just before crossing the Red River.
