A press can also fawk the ears up on yokes very easily. I prefer the hammer method for this reason.
I likes to use a vice and squeeze the caps in, then finish off with a tap tap taparoo from the hammer.
The press is heavy and large so it'd probably be easier to do here. I will be working tomm and friday but Clarke will probably be here.
Just take your time with the press and it will be a lot easier. Does that joint have bushings or needle bearings?
I always end up forgetting to add extra grease in the caps and one of the damn needle bearings will fall out of place and I have to pull it back apart a couple of times.
