There is no high pressure, it's less than 15 psi. This is assuming it still uses the stock tbi built in regulators. I slip a hose over it and use a hose clamp.
The 044 pump operates at 70+ PSI, and Ed's truck has an external regulator on it.
normally, when someone talks about plumbing a vehicle, they arent referring to house plumbing.
btw, I was thinking about using a valve like that as a rear line lock. Good or bad idea?
bad
Doubt it would hold
$35 too rich for your blood? If so might want to get out of the hobby!

The pump operates at whatever pressure you set the regulator at. That's what a pressure regulator does, it regulates pressure. You use it in a bypass setup, think of it like a relief valve. I doubt yall would have deviated very far from the factory pressure set point, which is less than 15 psi.
looks like some janky brass ball valves and nice fittings?
I don't understand what it's for?
That was more than a shower, that was a turd floater!!!
I wanted to put one of those in between the tank and pump so that if/when I have to change it next time I don't have to take a bath in gasoline like I did in Rusty's parking lot. The other I was going to put on the return line so that the tank could be pulled w/ fuel in it if needed.
I had to order more fittings than I was planning as the -8AN hose to 1/2"NPT fitting was on back order. I ended up ordering -8AN hose to -8AN female and an -8AN male to 1/2"NPT to make it work. Some quick disconnects would be peemp, just have to do some more looking around.
I hate that is has overflowed into this thread. :(

lesson learned: don't ever put anything MSD on a vehicle
So it was just the coil?
so is it now running on all 8 cylinders?
uh, no
starts again, idles nicely, and really upsets the lady down the street!
if it fried the coil make sure that the wire for the tach has not grounded out anywhere that will fry a coil
trust me it has happened before this truck does not like distributors
Just took it on the South Holleman Nurburgring and its running good. It keeps throwing an intermittant MAP sensor error, something that would not have shown up on the old 160bps ecm. I think its because the MAP is placed on the throttle with the deadIAC. Maybe a small leak in the dead IAC valley that needs to be filled by a competant jb welder or something. Will look into that next week. It also starts a little rough. The ECM has tables for pulse width time vs coolant. Its not something that can be linearly adjusted based on old/new injector size due to open and close times. I think they need to be increased, but once it starts its fine.
Awesome I can't waii can't wait to see/hear it run greatt to see it sun great
Ok, I think I need to get started on the motor pretty quick. Tommy, what is the best time to call the boss man to visit with him a bit about it? I am going to see if I can't get it out of the truck sometime next week.
