my dad saw this and called the place he gets his trailers from. he's got a 20' from them and the 16' i use here is made by them. he e-mailed me this
Horse Creek Trailers—Raul…...903.572.4211---18+2, metal floor, 5200# axles, 1 brake, 4 d’s in the floor, 2 5/16 hitch……they really build a nice trailer………$2440
do most carhaulers come with stakes? there are def times when I want the sides to haul crap.
that is pretty nice. Are they located in MP as well?Quote:

I don't knoiw why you wouldn't have them do it..it probably is a $50 option. plus you won't have to fawk up the paint to put them on. we have sides and stake pockets. works good.Quote:

if i were you, i would just get HD fenders or add to them so you can drive over them. i think you will get very tired of having to take them off. i can see removable fenders being an asset if you were hauling a car and wanted to be able to open the doors, but just for loading a rig you'll be happier just driving over them.
So Cox what say you about Texas Bragg trailers? I know they are a good brand but just how good are they?

I would not recommend:
Take 3 Truck and Trailer (Brenham)
or
Top Flite Trailer (Conroe)
I called both of them and both had secretraries trying to give me quotes. I was transferred again today 3 times by Take 3 until I was finally told that someone would call me back. Top Flite also told me someone would call me back. I told both of them that I was ready to buy a trailer today, but wanted to make sure that they had what I wanted before I came down. No one from either place called me back today.
It is down to a Terry's trailer (good deal, but hard for me to take time off to drive to OK to get it)
or Horse Creek Trailer (like Cox recommended (need to call him back))
Brandon, did you have any experience with the guy in Millican? It is called American Trailer I think, not performance. They build there own stuff, but it seems slightly backwoods, though the old man seems to know what he is doing.
have you sold your old one yet?
yeah
There are like 3 trailer places in a row on 45 just inside the beltway, at least one of them sells big tex.
Trailer Frame and Wheel, Husky, and I dont know the 3rd.
ake 3 seems like are making money somewhere (locals?) and don't want to stray from their comfort zone. maybe they are more into the truck side of take 3. what the **** does take 3 mean anyways.
It is their 3rd time to try and get it right? a redneck way of saying version 3.0?
The guy that started it crashed his Great Lakes over Las Vegas somewhere. He's on a permanent "take 5"
Mike Jones?
Maybe it's the rule of 3 in fabrication. If you need two, make three and throw the first one away.
A dude in one of my classes had a take three shirt on and the picture on the rear had an angled gooseneck car hauler with 3 vehicles on it. I'm assuming most of their business is building these type of trailers.
Did you check the places in the equipment trader?
My dad's going to pick up a new trailer somewhere south of dallas tomorrow. I think it is Encore. But it's more of a heavy duty type thing, to haul the JD650G. He liked that they offered many options. It was custom made because of the options but it only took 2 weeks.

no, he doesnt sell trailers. he just got a quote from his trailer guy.
what does apologize mean?
Oh I thought that was just a half assed attempt at you apologizing to him for being an ass in his thread. My mistake.
deloreans?
Horse Creek's price didnt include the options that I wanted, although with them, the price would have been similiar. I recommend both Horse Creek and Texas Made.
